Founded in 2005 to provide support for the beautification projects on the Stevens Park Golf Course, North Oak Cliff Greenspace, Inc., has grown from those modest beginnings to become a leading advocate for landscape enhancements throughout North Oak Cliff residential neighborhoods.

Projects ranging from public art installations to amenities along the Coombs Creek Trail to maintenance of major landscape projects on Stevens Park Golf Course and its adjacent park land, all have been accomplished with the funding from NOC Greenspace. Through its fundraiser golf tournament, held annually in October, Greenspace generates funds for these projects as well as supporting Junior Golf development programs in partnership with nearby Rosemont Elementary School and St Cecilia Catholic School. Additionally, Greenspace, in conjunction with Methodist Dallas Medical Center's Sports Medicine Department, promotes the physical, mental, and emotional wellness benefits derived from activities pursued outdoors, especially golf. Operating across neighborhood boundaries, Greenspace has partnered with numerous City of Dallas agencies and local neighborhood associations to improve the outdoor experiences of residents and non-residents alike, always working for the greater, greener good.
